| A surprise birthday celebration
A surprise 72nd birthday celebration was held for former Judge Alfredo Hilario by his caring wife Luz, and only son G.T, at the latter’s place in Bacolod recently.
An early Mass was offered at the Parish of St. Jude of whom the celebrator has been a devotee since his college days.
Retired judges came in full force, so with the incumbent ones, friends, and relatives, to GT’s place which has a spacious parking, and a big pavilion where a long buffet table full of delicious native delicacies.
At the side were roasted chicken, and under a mango tree was a roasted cow for the guests.
Favorite topic among the retirees, aside from politics, was about the “apos” and their favorite hobbies. The celebrator enjoys planting vegetables and fruit-bearing trees. He is now experimenting on growing organic plants.
It was past 10 p.m. when everyone bade each other a good night.

A new Saltimboca Hall that can accommodate 300 guests was inaugurated recently at blessing rites officiated by Fr. Romeo Tomonong.
Joebert and Patty Cuaycong, and daughter, TP Cuaycong-Jalandoni, who is the manager, welcomed the guests for whom sumptuous food served buffet style had been prepared.
