FETUS FOUND
IN BACOLOD

A dead fetus believed to be about five months old, was found by a seashell gatherer in a coastal area of Bacolod City during the weekend, the police said yesterday.

It was found by Joel Gallego, a “tahong” farmer in Purok Sigay, Brgy. Singcang-Airport, Bacolod, at about 9 a.m. Saturday, PO2 Noel Vergara of Police Station 8, said.

The fetus was shown in a television report wrapped in a blue plastic container, placed beside a candle at the Purok Sigay chapel, before it was buried.*PP
