Don Bosco bags DLF title

Don Bosco Technical Institute needed extra time to beat Trinity Christian School, 3-2, to finally hoist a championship trophy in the Under 13 division of the Dynamic Football League 2014 - 2nd Conference at the Panaad Stadium yesterday.

John Lloyd Bentic scored all three goals for Don Bosco, the 50th minute equalizer in regulation and the two late goals in the 10-minute extension that finally subdued the persistent Trinity team.

“It was the boys’ fighting spirit that gave us the win,” head coach Jose Reymando Baldava said, as he thanked the tournament organizer, headed by businessman Ricky Yanson, the DBTI administration, and the parents of his players who were there to cheer their children on.
