It was a day of smiles, laughter and excitement for the parents and kids of The School for Creative Beginners, as they celebrated their 23 rd yearend show for 2015-2016, recently.

The show, entitled “The Evolution of Dances”, was choreographed by SCB teachers, with the cooperation of the parents. The kids and dancing parents gave the audience a show full of smiles. The parents and loved ones just could not stop clicking their cameras, making sure they capture the moves of their little dancers.

Parent involvement plays a big role in child education, thus making SCB very proud that the parents are always willing to help and participate in the endeavors of the school. The show had dances from the 50s till the present. The children and their parents gave awestruck renditions of various dance eras. The children were so resilient that they can easily adapt to the moves taught by their teachers.

The atmosphere was that of fun and camaraderie, and of course, bonding, using dance as a medium. The SCB kids were all smiles seeing their mommies and daddies doing the rock and roll, twist, punk, and the disco. It was such a delight to watch the show, simply because love was so evident between and among the parents, children, and teachers.*
