Koi show set Friday
SM City Bacolod will hold a koi show starting Friday at its north atrium, and over 500 kinds of koi fishes will be showcased, a press release from the mall said.
The show is in partnership with the Negros Koi Club, and mallgoers will see some of the finest koi of all sizes and varieties being bred in the Philippines. Members of the club will also be available to talk about their koi passion and how to care for the pond to ensure the welfare of their water pets.
Koi enthusiasts will also participate in the koi growout challenge, with various awards for the biggest, healthiest and best varieties up for grabs, the press release said.
The show will run during mall hours until Sunday, with free entrance, the press release added.*
