The Art Association of Bacolod will hold its 41st founding anniversary exhibition and induction of officers, 6 p.m. tomorrow, at the Negros Museum in Bacolod City.
The exhibit will run until August 16.
The new set of officials of AAB are Rodney Martinez – president, Joe Dureza - vice president, Sony Golez and Miriam Bayles - secretary, Dolly Gatuslao – treasurer, and Rafael Paderna - auditor.
Members of the Board of Directors are Rommel Clavecillas, Fred Juson, Manuel Palacious, Leah Samson, and Art Bayles.*

A super club opens
Nightlife in Bacolod experienced a rebirth with the opening of Mo2's Superclub at the Goldenfield Commercial Complex recently.
The blessing of the establishment was led by Fr. Farley Santillan, and the event was attended by more than 200 guests, with the young ones partying the night away.
Mo2 is headed by founder and president Orley Ong, with bars not only in Bacolod, but also in Iloilo and Cebu, as well as hotels.
The new super club boasts of high-end sound and lighting system, equipped with gigantic led screen monitors strategically located in the stage area behind the DJ's booth.
It was a memorable inauguration for Murcia officials, led by Mayor Andrew Montelibano and Vice Mayor Victor Gerardo Rojas, son of National Federation of Sugarcane Planters president Nene Roxas, and the councilors.
Sworn in to serve their 90,000 constituents were councilors Joselino Santiago, Nicanor Constantino, Jose Gomez, Norberto de los Reyes, Ruel Villarosa, Belen Magbanua, Johnny Reosura, and Judgie Gravino.
The inaugural rites were held at the lavishly decorated Murcia municipal gym. It was a red carpet grand entrance for each local official, and the oath-taking was administered by Judge Blas Nolasco Jr.*

The baptism of Ayrton
The St. Alphonsus Mary de Liguori Parish Church at Magallanes Village in Makati City was the setting for the baptism of Ayrton Francisco Leonardia, with Fr. Antonio Ma. Rosales, OFM officiating on July 10.
Ayrton is the son of Miko and DJ (Bago) Leonardia, now residents of Merville Village, Parañaque.
The ceremony was attended by relatives from Bacolod and Quezon City. Miko's parents are the late Andy Leonardia and the former Meg Lacson of Silay City. Reception was held at Racks, Paseo de Magallanes.*
