Ceres concedes 3 goals to
Felda in away match

Ceres Negros FC must win their two remaining games to remain in contention in the AFC Cup 2017 after yielding to Felda United, 0-3, in Match Day 4 of the Group G Qualifiers at the Shah Alam Stadium in Malaysia yesterday.

Going into the match undefeated with 5 points, courtesy of a win against Tampines and a draw against Hanoi and Felda, the Busmen found themselves slipping from No. 1 to No. 3 with Felda landing at No. 2 and earning a higher goal difference.

Hanoi is back to the top with 8 points following a 2-1 win against Tampines Rovers in their match-up at Jalan Besar Stadium in Singapore last night. The team from Vietnam will test Ceres' luck at their homecourt in Pana-ad Stadium on April 19 when the two teams clash.

Leadforce scores fourth win in ABC Cup:
Karmex Gold hands Top Ace its 1st loss

Robby Jalandoon scored 12 of his team-high 22 points in the fourth quarter carrying Leadforce to its fourth victory in five games against Cartap, 78-71, in the ABC-LEADS Agri Cup at the Ayala Northpoint Clubhouse Monday night.

Trailing by 7 points at the half, Cartap's frontline combination of Hans Schulze and Miguel Mosquera in the third quarter outscored their counterparts 20-11 as they regained the upperhand entering the last 12 minutes of play.

Leadforce responded with Jalandoon leading the way as Cartap ran out of gas late in the game.

Alvarez shines in
