3 bets ready for challenges

These three women have waited for the opportunity to take on the challenge of joining the prestigious pageant known as the Lin-ay sang Negros 2017.

Aila Cahaponon from Cauayan joined the Lin-ay pageant to try and experience the new challenges that goes with it.

Cahaponan is a student of the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos.

She is fond of cooking and singing, and enjoys learning new things.

Kyra Uytiepo, who represents Escalante, is more of the sporty-type. Among her hobbies and talents are swimming and playing badminton.

Uytiepo is a tourism management student of the University of St. La Salle.

Joining the Lin-ay pageant has been her dream.

She is also an animal lover and dreams of becoming a veterinarian someday.

Faye Coleen Goza of Himamaylan is closer to art and entertainment, with acting, character impersonation, and dancing as her special hobbies and talents.

A junior high school graduate at Himamaylan National High School, Goza wants to echo the voice of the youth and carry out her advocacy through the pageant.

She said joining the Lin-ay pageant is not just for fame or glamour, but it is also her way of inspiring people.*SGG
