Anglo, Gonzaga stand among
best shooters in USPSA Asia-Pac event

Wilfredo “Tootsie” Anglo and Jannette Gonzaga of the Negros Sports Exchange Gun Club displayed their sharp shooting skills to secure their place on top among the world's best during the USPSA Asia Pacific Championship II held Nov. 28 to Dec. 3 in Batangas.

Anglo was champion in the Carry Optics Division Senior category while Gonzaga reigned in the Ladies Limited Division and finished second runner-up in the Limited Division Senior category.

“There were just a handful of us from Bacolod who joined in the tournament and we happy with what we have achieved,” Gonzaga told the DAILY STAR.

F2 Logistics beats Iriga in
PSL volleyball tourney

F2 Logistics pulled off a 25-19, 25-12, 25-17 victory over newcomer Iriga City Tuesday night in the quarterfinal round of the Chooks to Go-Philippine Superliga (PSL) Grand Prix at the Filoil Flying V Centre.

Imports Kennedy Bryan and Maria Jose Perez scored 14 and 12 points, respectively for F2 Logistics, which will face the winner between Cignal and Cocolife in the sudden-death semifinals scheduled on Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

F2 Logistics Ramil de Jesus stressed the need to win every match.
