All Terrain rallies
to beat Trekker

Rev-X All Terrain rode on the offense of Dante Ma and Luigi Coo in the final minutes to pull off a come-from-behind win against Rev-X All Trekker, 87-78, Wednesday night in the 35 and Below category of the Fil-Sino Inter-Color Petron Cup at Tay Tung High School Po Hang Gym.

Facing a 59-68 deficit early in first half, All Terrain turned to Ma and Coo, who scored 10 points each, to overcome Trekker.

A 51-44 halftime lead engineered by the backcourt duo of Sean Wee and Joshua Co boosted Trekker's confidence at the start of the third quarter but Ma and Vincent Tan were there to keep All Terrain into the game.

Aaron Arroyo and Wee combined for 11 points to extend the lead to 9 points going to the fourth quarter while Ceasar Tan scored 6 points for Rev-X Terrain.

Ma finished with 22 points while Coo tallied 16, Tan shot 14, and Justin Kilayko had 8 points.

Sean Wee led Rev-X Trekker with a game-high 23 points while Co added 20, Arroyo scored 10 points, Mark Yu with 7 and Derek Sibug hit 6 points.

In the other game, HTP Dot 4 defeated an undermanned Ultron Extra, 83-68, in the 36 and Above category.

It was an important victory for HTP Dot 4 as they moved ahead of Ultron Extra in the team standings with a 3-4 slate while dropping Ultron Extra to 2-4.

Ultron Extra led in the firth quarter,17-15, behind Efraim Valencia and Kendrick Deloria combined output of 13 points even as Lito Dumdum scored 8 points for HTP Dot 4.

The trio of Toffel Tan, Bobil Alagaban and Ronald Despi combined for 31 points for HTP Dot 4 in the second quarter for a 46-31 advantage . This was the decisive quarter as HTP Dot 4 traded baskets with Ultron Extra in the final half as both teams registered an identical production.

Despi paced HTP Dot 4 with 24 points, Alagaban added 17, Dumdum shot 14, Tan had 11 points.

Valencia and Deloria paced Ultron Extra with 19 points each as Cris Pascua added 10 points.*
