Mower posts first win in ABC-LEADS Cup as
Top Ace keeps slate clean after three games

Team Mower barged into the win column Thursday night aftersqueaking past Karmex Gold, 90-86, in the ABC-LEADS Agri Cup at the Ayala Northpoint Clubhouse in Talisay City.

The game was close in the opening quarter as Mower took the upperhand, 24-20, behind Willy Dasal's 11 points while Adrian Cuaycong led Karmex with 10 first quarter points.

Mark Jomalesa orchestrated a second quarter run, blowing the game wide open, giving Mower an 18-point advantage at the half led by Nikol Medina's 13 points.

Team Med Trek anchors
Apr. 9 Dalagan-Sikad

Team MedTrek, a group composed of doctors, businessmen and farmers, who have been biking together for over 17 years will hold a fitness activity dubbed Dalgan-Sikad on April 9.

The event will focus ont the core values of the group centered on fitness, family, fellowship and fun, MedTrek member Dr. Viki Guanzon said.

With the growing awareness on the impact of lifestyle diseases today, there is a steady trend towards keeping fit and healthy. Although there is a current evolution in sports, everyone can agree that the eventual target of every athlete is to be in and winning “The Race”, Guanzon added.

Mahindra keeps Nlex
winless in PBA

Mahindra banked on a solid performance from James White to down NLEX, 89-81, for its first win in the PBA Commissioner's Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City last night.

White tallied 30 points, 23 rebounds, two assists, one block, and one steal to lead the way for the Chris Gavina-mentored squad, who added more woes to the club of Coach Yeng Guiao.

After letting the Road Warriors open the game on a 7-2 run, the Floodbusters went full throttle afterward, scoring seven straight points to take the lead, 9-7.
