Chinatown

LA VIDA NEGRENSE

It was a grand month-long celebration for Bacolod's well-loved and locally-owned 888 Chinatown Square and 888 Premier Mall.

The mall became the destination of choice among families and friends as mallgoers were treated to a wide array of prizes, fun, and surprises.

The celebration began with a furniture show by Artistico Disenyo at the event center, which was followed by a lively performance of celebrity Luis Manzano. The occasion was attended by hundreds of Negrenses, filling up the mall's huge event center.

Mallgoers were up for treats during the cook-off challenge as it featured different chefs who created gastronomic delights. Awesome creations by respected Iloilo and Dumaguete designers also added to the excitement fever in the mall. Lively vocal and dance competitions, organized by the USLS College of Education, also highlighted the celebration. Fish collectors were up for treats as fishes of different sizes and colors were displayed during the Guppy fancy show.

The dance fever continues with Sky Life dance revolution, organized by Sky Cable. Celebrity excitement was at its all-time high when Ethel Booba and Jeff Vasquez performed on stage. It was a fun afternoon during the Parade of Mask Dancing and Fashion Show, organized by the Gohing Dance Studio, while former Ilog vice mayor and councilor Mark Vargas with his models captivated mallgoers during their Sugarlandia Fashion Week for-a-cause. Cosmic angels from the Angel of the Raindow studio performed centerstage to the delight of the guests, while the Image Entertainment did a fashion show at the mall's event center.*
