killed in Bulacan

Heated arguments led to the death of three members of a familyfrom Negros Occidental in Meycauayan, Bulacan, Sunday.

But the suspect, identified as Jimmy Dalama Castro, was immediately arrested by the police, and is now facing multiple murder charges in court, a family member of the victims said.

Killed were Perpetua Yonson, 58; her daughter, Gemma Lyn, 34,and grandson April John Moratalla, all from Brgy. Tamlang, Sagay City, and now residing in Meycauayan, Bulacan.

GeniccaGhenYonson, daughter of Perpetua, said last night that her sister,Gemma Lyn, tried to pacify the suspect and her mother, who had figured in heated arguments.

Gemma Lyn managed to convince her mother to return to their home.

Castro, the suspect, who was a neighbor of the victims, also went home. But laterarmed with a knife, he followed the two victims to their house and stabbed them in turns, GeniccaGhen said.

Castro also stabbed April John, 14. who had witnessed the stabbing of his mother and grandmother, Genicca added.

Genicca said she does not know yet if the suspect had been under the influence of drugs, as he has yet to undergo a drug test.*GPB
