La Filipina, Tough Trucks
pace Open Trio Duckpin tilt

BCY/La Filipina Trading and Tough Trucks/NPBC took the 1-2 position in the men's division, as ASSFBI and KMH Ladies did the same in the women's category of the ongoing 13 th Bowlers Club of Bacolod City Open Trio Duckpin Bowling Tournament 2017 at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

After four rounds, Bobby Yap-led BCY bowlers grabbed the lead with 3,641 points followed by Tough Trucks of Jaime Chua and Steve Po with 3,630.

Kami MgaHubin of Robbie Elegado occupied the third spot with 3,608 points.

Edgar Jerez' Davies II lands at No. 4 with 3,562, while Cecil Ramon Silverio's Silverado/ASSFBI placed No.5 with 3,543.

Davies I has 3,487; REBY, 3,368; BCY/La Filipina II, 3,338; Eco-Retirado, 3,306; PC Warriors, 3,288; Center Line I, 3,268; Center Line II, 3,243; Robinhood Solid Strikers, 2,935, and Robinhood Knights/ASSFBI, 2,573.

In the distaff side, ASSFBI piloted by Sylvia Del Rosario leads with 3,419 tailed by KMH with 3,286.

D'Explorer I and BCY/Salto posted 3,259 and 3,230, respectively for third and fourth spots.

RJ Stars/NPBC hauled 3,228; DAYLE, 3,175; ON-BACIBA, 3,145; Black Hawk, 3,107; D'Explorer II, 3,034, and J-Force/Davies, 3,018.

Tough Trucks holds the tournament record in highest triple with 1,038 pin falls, and D'Explorer in the women's department with 933.

Bobby Yap of BCY booked the individual record in triple with 387.

Meanwhile, the two-day Bowlers Club of Bacolod City organized “Pre-Masskara Regional Open Trio Duckpin Bowling Extravaganza will unfold on Oct.14 at the Negros Super Lanes in Bacolod City.

It will be a six-game event where the top three teams will vie for the title in an up-the-ladder system to determine the champion this Sunday.

Meanwhile, the week-long National Masskara Open Trio Duckpin Bowling Championship 2017 that will be hosted by Kami MgaHubin Bowling Club will kick off Oct.17 at the same venue.

Jame Henry Toga of KMH said bowlers from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao are participating in the tournament.

Tryout in team and single events on the opening day will start at 4 p.m. until 12 midnight, he said.

Games will continue on Oct.18, 19 and 20.

The top three teams in the men and women's category will vie for the top prize and tournament's crown on Oct.21.*HLG
