Top four teams eye final seat
in Bowlers Club Trio Duckpin

It will be a do-or-die battle for the top four teams in tonight's last day of the elimination phase where only three can survive for the championship in the 13 th Bowlers Club of Bacolod City Open Trio Duckpin Bowling Tournament 2017, scheduled next week at the Negros Super Lanes in Bacolod City.

Vying for the final three slots are Davies II bowlers of Edgar Jerez who are occupying the No.1 post in the premiere division after five rounds with 4,164 pin falls.

Tough Trucks/NPBC of Jaime Chua and Steve Po is No.2 with 4,128, while BCY/La Filipina Trading and Kami MgaHubin completed the cast in today's clash for the up-the-ladder finals on Sept.14.

Carrying the colors for Davies are Iran Pielago, Joe Latoza, LlawrenceLlena, and Oscar Clenen; Willy Mahilum, HernandGarciniego, Abe Leong and Cyril Mayordomo for NPBC; Raymund Lopez, Lyndon Reyes, NonoyHulguin and Rodney Bojos for (BCY), Wilson Casas, Raymund Galvan, Toto Flores, Michael Corral, Essho Garcia and Peter Doecadez (KMH).

In category B, Bago City Strikers headed by Ricardo Abellar is already assured a slot with 3,876 pin falls.

The other finalists are Center Line spearheaded by Eric Aguero and Kennedy Eusebio with 3,732; RBNY, 3,658; BCY, 3,656; Retirado-Eco Saver, 3,609; Access Line, 3,600, and I-Square, 2,407.

 

 

 

 

D'Explorer I leads the semi-finalists in the ladies department with 8,039 followed by DAYLE with 8,033.

ON-BACIBA occupied the third spot with 8,013; RJ Stars/NPBC, 7,926; JB Davies, 7,744; D'Explorer II, 7,725; Black Hawk, 7,706, and JC Force, 7,383.

Tough Trucks/NPBC records in team single and triple are still intact at 407 and 1,120 pin falls, as D' Explorer is still the holder of the women's single and triple with 351 and 967, apiece.

Romulo Ramos (ESD Solid Strikers) highest pinning record in the men's division is untouched at 98, while his wife Cheryl (D'Explorer) also holds the women's pinning with 96.

The new individual single record holder is Raymund Galvan (KMH) with 161, while Abe Leong (Tough Trucks) in triple with 414 in the men's bracket.

ON-BACIBA bet Corazon Romero holds the women's record in single and triple with 137 and 354, respectively.
