CENECO rates up
by 0.3683 cents

The Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. announced yesterday an adjustment in the residential rate for September 2017 billing.

In a press release, the electric cooperative announced that the residential rate for September 2017 billing is ?10.0130/kwh or an increase of ?0.3683/kWh from last month's ?9.6447/kwh.

CENECO attributes the adjustments to the increase in its power purchased from 69,687,001 kWh last month to 74,858,319 kWh this month.

The electric cooperative also continues to remind its consumers to conserve energy to avoid paying high electricity bills.*
