The 54 th and largest branch in the Philippines of Merzci Pasalubong Center was recently blessed in Bago City, Negros Occidental.
Welcoming the guests to the momentous occasion were the conglomerate’s main pillar and chief executive officer Jonathan Manuel Lo, and co-founder Corazon Lo, who is also the co-founder of one of Bacolod’s oldest and well-loved family drugstores, the Negros Grace Pharmacy.
Bago Branch is one of Merzci’s full stores serving fresh breads, delectable meals, and mouth-melting pasalubong treats plus the newest addition, the Baked Off products, meaning straight from the oven. Merzci Bago is a 4-in-1 store that includes a bakeshop, fastfood, pasalubong, and Baked Off, and can accommodate 310 customers.
Merzci, a family business that started in 1995, is the market brand of CM & Sons Food Products Inc. It begins as a small bakery supplying breads to a single store in Libertad Market in Bacolod City, and soon evolved to produce pasalubong products, water, and fast-food serving delicious and affordable food for Bacoleños and Negrosanons.
For over two decades, Merzci grew from a proudly Negros favorite to a special treat loved by people in Iloilo, Tuguegarao City in the north, Zamboanga City, Manila, Cebu, and Panay. Some of the products are also exported by distributors to Canada, the USA, and other parts of the world.*
