in tricycle seized

The Task Force Botagoy seized about 65 kilos of “hot meat”, worth P15,600, in Purok Gracia, Barangay Singcang-Airport in Bacolod City, at about 5:15 p.m. Saturday.

Executive assistant Ernie Pineda, cluster head on markets, yesterday said the task force intercepted a tricycle loaded with “hot meat”, and driven by Resty Navarro, 20, of Brgy. Alijis, who failed to present a meat inspection certificate.

Navarro was on his way to deliver the meat products to customers when these were seized by the task force since they did not undergo inspection at the Bacolod City Slaughterhouse, in violation of City Ordinance 459, he said.
