Twenty-four booths from the barangays of Bago City, Negros Occidental, participated in the Agro Industrial, Cultural, and Educational Fair as part of the 52 nd Charter anniversary celebration of the city that opened yesterday.

The opening ceremony for the week-long fair at Bantayan Park in Bago City was led by Western Visayas director Remelyn Recoter of the Department of Agriculture, with Vice Mayor Ramon Torres and some government officials from the province.

The event that will run until Feb. 19 is part of the charter anniversary celebration of Bago this year, on the theme “Working Together, Achieving More for a Better Bago”.

The opening of the fair also featured the performance of the Bago City Dancers that had placed second in this year's Fiesta Republika in Malolos, Bulacan last Jan. 23. *MLG
