SU alumni to hold summit
BY CECILE GENOVE

Fifty-one participants have confirmed attendance in the three-day Alumni Summit starting on Friday until Sunday at the Silliman University Conference Center in Dumaguete City.

The summit, initiated by the 50-year-old Silliman Alumni Association Inc., will examine its relevance in the life of Silliman University and the entire SU community.

Aside from revisiting the association's vision, mission, and goals, by-laws, handbook on chapters and its institutionalized activities, the participants are expected to formulate new strategies and doable plans this year to support the association and activities in the university.

Local, national, and overseas alumni chapters are represented in the summit, including five alumni in the SU Board of Trustees and 15 members of the SAAI Board of Directors.

Co-facilitators are Perla Rizalina Maturan Tayko and Susan Monte de Ramos Soldwisch. Group facilitators include Hilario Abel Gomez, Roberto Montebon, M. Mikhail Lee Maxino, and Leo Mamicpic.*
