Cops seize
P150,000 in shabu

About P150,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized from three persons during a buy-bust operation at 5th-Lacson streets in Barangay 17, Bacolod City, at about 3:30 p.m. yesterday, the police said.

Police Station 2 operatives nabbed a newly-identified drug target, Arnold Elorde, 39, of Barangay Estefania in Bacolod, the station's commander, Chief Insp. BenedictoVillarias, reported.

Also arrested were Elorde's wife AnalynSenorio, 49, and Ma. Emily Yulo, 50, who were in the Suzuki Celerio vehicle during the transaction, Villarias said.

The arrest of Elorde, Selorio and Yulo yielded 12 sachets of suspected shabu, a weighing scale, and a Suzuki Celerio without plate number, Villarias said.

Elorde, Senorio and Yulo may face charges for violations of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*SGG
