SRA warns of impostors
BY CARLA GOMEZ

Administrator Hermenegildo Serafica of the Sugar Regulatory Administration yesterday warned the public of unscrupulous persons who have been soliciting money on his behalf.

Unscrupulous individuals have been posing as Serafica, including other SRA officers, or dropping their names to fraudulently solicit funds from the public, a notice issued yesterday said.

“Please be warned that the SRA has not authorized any person to solicit money or other things of value from the public for any purpose or cause,”Serafica said.

These persons reportedly have been soliciting donations over the phone.*CPG
