11 incumbent, 19 new
brgy captains elected


Eleven incumbent barangay captains and 19 new ones were elected in Dumaguete City Monday.

Re-elected as barangay captains were Vincent Perigua of Bagacay, Glenn Noay - Balugo, Virginia Alcancia - Camanjac, Gregorio Oira - Candau-ay, Pilarte Sarte - Cantil-e, Angelita Ragay - Lo-oc, Ramel Tayko - Mangnao, Dionie Amores - Motong, Anthony Ozoa - Poblacion 3, Nelson Ablir - Poblacion 5, and Reynaldo Caballes - Poblacion 7.

The newly-elected ones are Crispin Patrimonio of Bajumpandan, Paciencio Maquiling - Banilad, Frankie Credo - Batinguel, Nerio Grapa - Bantayan, Gina Ablay - Bunao, Ma. Isabel Sagarbarria - Calindagan, Jimmy Tabada – Cadawinonan, Jovencio Tan – Daro;

Maximino Umbac Jr. - Junob, Charlemagne Bantillan - Piapi, Harrison Gonzales - Poblacion 1, Pedro Zuniega - Poblacion 2, Peter Calumpang - Poblacion 4, Gerardo Balog - Poblacion 6, Maelyne Mariano - Poblacion 8, Ricardo Patola - Pulantubig, Randy Fausto - Tabuc-tubig, Roger Bohol – Taclobo, and Lilia Batalan of Talay.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government reminded incumbent barangay officials to continue serving until June 30, when those who won in Monday’s BSKE will assume their posts.*RG
