Ultron Extra crushes Enduro
to register 8th straight victory

 

Ultron Extra swept past Sprint 4t Enduro, 72-54, to extend its winning streak to eight and sweep the elimination round of the 36 and Above category while Ultron Touring eliminated Sprint 4t Rider from semi-final contention with a 77-71 victory in the Fil-Sino Petron Cup 2019 at Bacolod TayTung High School Po Hang Gym.

Sprint 4t Enduro was just three points behind Ultron Extra at the end of third quarter, 46-43 but Adonis Rosales scored 11 points, including three triples, to extend the lead.

Rosales paced Ultron Extra with 17 points while Efraim Valencia shot 15 markers, DK Equipaje added 10 points, Joseph Tiu made 8 and Martin Torrejon and Rinen Miagao fired 6 points each.

Sprint 4t Enduro, which dropped to 3-4 and remain winless in the second was led by Richard Co with 10 points.

In the second game, Ultron Touring led at halftime, 37-30, led by Arvin Gustilo and Rey Pandoro, who scored eight points each.

Ultron Touring relied on their 3-point shooting in the second half to keep Sprint 4t Rider at bay.

With seven triple connection in the final stretch, Ultron Touring claimed the victory.

Eufre led Ultron Touring with 21 points backstopped by Arvin Gustilo and Rey Pandoro with 12 points each.

Chua finished with 20 points for Sprint 4t Rider.*
