“Paanod” is a charity festival of art, music, cultural, and environmental events. The word ‘paanod’ is a Hiligaynon term for "be in motion".
Now on its second year, the festivity, that was designed for the local community and guests of Sugar Beach in Sipalay City, Negros Occidental, was held Feb. 1-2.
It was supported and participated in by the art community, to include workshops by Binhi Creatives, Sea Waste Education to Eradicate Plastic, and artists Tristram Estevanez Miravalles, Juan Rosalia, Mikiboy Pama, Guenivere Decena, Christine Bangero, and Nuklar Alvarado.
Tattoo demo was done by Kenta Soar Koike, Michael Molinos and Francis Fernandez. There was also a visual arts exhibition by Bogie, Burog, and Nuklar Alvarado, Edmund Bacia, Ginoe, Pakz Gonzaga, Jovito Hecita, Jose Inocencio III, Junks Kdlt, Pnue Ma Lorenzo, Leonard Mino, Tristram Miravalles, Wyndelle Remonde, Juan Rosalia, Red Santillan, and Arnel Villaceran.*
