Fire hits law office
BY SHIELA G. GELERA

Fire hit the Mirano and Associates Law Office at corner 13th-Aguinaldo streets in Barangay 4, Bacolod City, at about 5:30 p.m. yesterday.

About P100,000 worth of properties were destroyed in the fire that was put out at about 5:56 p.m. yesterday, Fire Officer 2 Mark Anthony Alonso, of the Bacolod Bureau of Fire Protection, said quoting theirspot report.

Initial investigation by fire officers 2 John Stewart Mondido and Carlo Vincent Mallari showed that the fire started at the resting quarters at the second floor of the concrete building.

Electrical wiring is initially being eyed as the cause of fire but this is still being further investigated, Alonso said.

No one was injured or killed in the fire that reached first alarm, Alonso added.*
