Class 85, 95 pace NOHS bowlfest

 

Class ’85 and Batch ’95 kept the driver seat in the premiere and class B division of the Batch ’94- organized Negros Occidental High School Inter-class Alumni Bowling Fellowship at the Negros Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

Batch ’90 still holds the upper hand in category C.

With two more rounds to go in the elimination phase, the Class ’85 spearheaded by Iran Pielago and Nonito Tubongbanua are now heading the premiere class with 4,518 pin falls followed by Class ’66 led by Edgar Baldonado with 4,384.

The other competing squads in the same division are Batch ’96 with 4,366; Class ’73, 4,329; Batch ’94, 4,291; Class ’84, 4,256; Class ’83, 4,213; Class ’87, 4,186, and Class ’89, 4,012.

On top in bracket B is Batch ’95 piloted by Essho Garcia with 4,341 tailed by Class ’80 headed by Kennedy Eusebio with 4,194.

Batch ‘2000-Up is third with 4,189; Batch ’99, 4,162; Class ’68, 4,150; Class ’65, 4,095; Batch ’91, 4,028; Batch ’92, 4,014, and Class ’86, 3,762.

Leading in Class C bracket is Batch ’90 anchored by Michael Corral with 4,181 followed by Class ’70 with 3,934.

Lined up in the category are Batch ’98 with 3,909; Class ’77, 3,824; Class ’88, 3,741, and Class ’67, 3,738.

In the individual contest, Joemar Baylon of Batch ’99 and Joemarie Jopillo of Class ’87 are holding the records in highest pinning and single with 97 points and 154, while Peter Deocadez of Batch ’94 in triple with 366.

In the women’s side, Josel Balontong of Batch ’97 established the record in highest pinning with 94, as Class ’83 bet Nene Tonogbanua and Veronica Baylon of Batch ’99 in single and triple with 143 and 338 each, respectively.*HLG
