The Leonardia family recently had a thanksgiving dinner as a back-to-back celebration for the graduation in college of grandson David Angelo Balmes, and granddaughter Michico Elexa Po. The dinner was held at Santiago Restaurant in Quezon City, and attended by families and close friends.

David Angelo is the eldest son of Batangas City real estate entrepreneur Jose Angelo and Menchie Balmes. He is the grandson of Melba Leonardia and Vicente Tan, and Dr. Yolinda Balmes. He is a graduate of La Salle Zobel, Alabang Village, where he studied elementary and high school. He graduated cum laude from the University of the Philippines Diliman, with the degree Business in Economics and Bachelor of Science in Economics. Angelo was Academic Excellence Awardee for Negros Island of the Rotary Club of Bacolod South. He plans to further his studies, and becomes a lawyer.

Michico Elexa is the eldest daughter of Anthony Edgar Ting Po and Mabel Leonardia Tan, and the granddaughter of Melba and Vicente. She went to St. Benedict in Cebu for elementary and St. Theresa’s College in high school. She graduated magna cum laude of Management in Human Resources at San Carlos University Cebu City, and now employed in an international company in Cebu.*
