YBAC posts third straight win
in Gasataya Cup 40-Up caging

YBAC maintained its immaculate record by mercilessly mauling SAMEC, 135-76, to keep pace with ELITE at 3-0 win-loss record in Bracket D of the Congressman Greg Gasataya 40 Up Interclub Tournament last night at the Bacolod Bay Center.

The 59 points winning margin eclipsed the average 48 points beatings YBAC administered to two previous opponents.

In the first game, BAC easily defeated ESAC, 124-99. BAC improved its record to 2-1, vastly enhancing its chance of grabbing the No. 2 seed in Bracket B. Idle NBG remained at the helm with 2-0 slate.

In the night cap, ABC Gators upped its record to 3-0 by upending JR A, 104-92. The loss dropped JR A to its second consecutive loss after winning its opening game.

ABC lords over Bracket D with 3 wins while UNAC occupies second place with 2-1 win-loss slate. PRAC is third with an even 1-1 record while JR A is at fourth with 1-2 slate.

Games continue today with CBC tries to bounce back from its first loss against BDB at 5:30 pm while NBG will go for its third win against Shepherds’ Basketball at 6:45 pm. The last game at 8 pm will pit JR B against KP Amigos.

All games will be played at the BAYS y Center.*
