3 nabbed for drugs

Three more drug suspects were arrested separately by the police in a series of buy-bust operations in Negros Occidental, that also yielded about P20,000 worth of suspected shabu.

Nabbed by the police were Harold Javellana, Reylan Malaga and Emmanuel Nagare.

The apprehension of Javellana, alias Emong, 48, during a buy-bust operation on Wednesday in Brgy. Orong, Kabankalan City, yielded an estimated P10,000 worth of suspected shabu and its paraphernalia, P100 in marked money and P3,984 in cash.

Chief Inspector Eduardo Corpuz also reported that the arrest of Malaga, 22, in Brgy. 1 poblacion, Victorias City, also yielded one gram of suspected shabu and its paraphernalia and P400 in marked money, as well as P140 in cash believed to be proceeds from the sale of illegal drugs.

Meanwhile, an estimated P5,250 worth of suspected shabu, P200 in marked money and P250 in cash were also recovered from Negare during his arrest, as a result of a buy-bust operation, in Brgy. Poblacion, Bago City.

The three arrested suspects are now locked up in jail.*
