BY SHIELA G. GELERA

A construction worker died when his motorcycle hit a concrete barrier at the side of the road at Gonzaga Extension, Doña Juliana Heights in Barangay Taculing, Bacolod City, at about 1:40 a.m. yesterday.

Ulderic Francisco of Barangay Mansilingan in Bacolod was brought to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital but died later, a police report said.

Traffic investigation showed that Francisco was driving his Rusi motorcycle without plate number, going east of Gonzaga Extension when he hit the concrete barrier at the side of the road, police records show.

Police Officer 2 Jose Marie dela Paz, traffic investigator of Station 6, said yesterday that Francisco was wearing a helmet.

There have been numerous motorists killed in same area in the past.*
