AT CAPITOL
Work slippage report sought
BY CARLA P. GOMEZ

Acting Negros Occidental Gov. Jeffrey Ferrer yesterday said the Provincial Engineer’s Office should also furnish him with a copy of the report on contractors undertaking provincial government projects that are suffering from work slippage.

Ferrer noted that the report had been sought by Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson who has been acting on the matter.

Ferrer is acting governor of the province while Lacson is on vacation in the United States.

They need to have the report so they can protect the interest of the province, he said.

Ferrer said he will distribute copies of the report to the members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan so they can review it..

Board Member Rommel Debulgado will preside over the SP session today, Ferrer said, since he is currently acting governor.*
