A former drug surrenderer was arrested in a buy-bust operation at City Ville Subdivision in Bacolod City, at about 10:30 p.m. Monday.
Station 4 operatives arrested William dela Peña Jr., alias “Tata”, 38, of the barangay, and seized from him seven sachets of suspected shabu, weighing four grams and worth P27,200, a coin purse, P5,000 in marked money, and P300 in cash, police records show.
Dela Peña, who is classified as a street level individual, is now detained at the custodial facility of Station 4, and may face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*
