The Himamaylan City Police Station reported that a road crash occurred along the highway of Sitio Naga, Barangay Suay, on Thursday evening, resulting in the death of a motorcycle driver.
The victim was named as “Jes,” a 32-year-old male residing at Sitio Punong, Barangay Gargato, Hinigaran, and a technician at M Lhuillier Corporation.
Based on the investigation of Himamaylan CPS, the victim was traveling south to north. Upon reaching the location of the incident, the driver suddenly swerved to the right and fell onto the shoulder of the road, sustaining multiple injuries.
The victim was rushed to the nearest hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
ISABELA
Seven people were reported injured after the collision of two motorcycles at National Road, Sitio Kalasag, Barangay Mansablay, Isabela, Negros Occidental, Thursday evening.
Investigation revealed that a motorcycle driven by a 20-year-old male with his live-in partner and their 9-month-old child was traversing from north to south, while the other motorcycle involved was driven by a 34-year-old male, together with a teacher and two minors, which was going in the opposite direction.
The 34-year-old driver apparently lost control at the incident area, causing his motorcycle to veer into the opposite lane and collide with the oncoming motorcycle.
All involved in the collision, including the 9-month-old baby, suffered minor injuries and were brought to Ignacio Lacson Arroyo Memorial District Hospital for treatment.*
