Within a period of 24 hours, the police accounted for 164 fugitives in Negros Occidental, in line with its Simultaneous Focus Police Operations against those with pending arrest warrants.
Of the fugitives, eight of them listed in the category of Most Wanted Persons, while 156 others are Other Wanted Persons, according to a report released by the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office.
The 24-hour series of manhunt operations took place August 30.
The Victorias City Police Station topped the list among 31 city and municipal police stations, accounting for the most number of wanted persons at 24.*
