Two barangays in Bacolod City have been recognized as regional champions, a press release from Bacolod PIO said.
Barangay Taculing’s barangay tanods were named regional champions for the second time in the Search for Outstanding Barangay Tanod (Highly Urbanized City Category), while Barangay Singcang Airport was honored as the Regional Winner of the Lupon Tagapamayapa Incentive Award (LTIA). Both awards were presented by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) during a ceremony in Iloilo City.
The statement continued that with the strong support of Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez, both Barangay Taculing and Barangay Singcang Airport showcased their dedication to maintaining peace and order in their communities. Their efforts and commitment earned them the prestigious regional titles, further highlighting their excellence in local governance.*
