A buy bust and checkpoint operations of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and the police during the weekend led to the arrest of two suspects in Murcia and Talisay City, Negros Occidental, yielding about P346,000 worth of suspected shabu.
A drug suspect identified as Moises Rojo, alias Moising, of Brgy. 12, Bacolod City, was apprehended yesterday during a by bust operation by the PDEA at Purok Kamunsil in Brgy. Lopez Jaena, Murcia.
The arrest of Rojo, 28, yielded about 51 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P346,800, among other items.
A resident of Brgy. Guinhalaran, Silay City, whose identity was withheld by the police, was intercepted on October 7 at a checkpoint in Brgy. Bubog, Talisay City, Negros Occidental, for having in his possession two sachets of suspected shabu.
Two sachets were recovered from his possession, according to the Talisay City police.*
