Two drug suspects were arrested on December 2 by the police during a buy-bust operation at Mallery Subdivision, Brgy. Lantad, Silay City, Negros Occidental, that also yielded P54,000 worth of suspected shabu.
Nabbed by the police were Leomar Ramos,26 and Romeo Bediosas, 32, both residents of Brgy. Mambulac, Silay City.
The arrest of two drug suspects yielded eight grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P54,400, marked money of P2,000, a Rusi motorcycle, P400 in cash and a cellular phone.
On the other hand, 10 violators of illegal gambling were also apprehended by the police also on Thursday at Purok Malinawon 2, in Barangay Balintawak, Escalante City.
Seven of the 10 arrested suspects are women. Their arrests yielded P1,155 in cash bets and playing cards.*
