Two street-level individuals were arrested by the Bacolod City Police Office during a drug bust late Monday evening in Bacolod City.
The two were identified only as aliases ‘Alvin,’ 45, single, and ‘Christian,’ 33, married, both residents of Purok Mainabyanon, Barangay 35.
Operatives from Police Station 1 conducted the buy bust at about 11:24 p.m. in Purok Maabi-abihon, Barangay 35, and seized around 10 grams of suspected shabu worth P68,000.
Authorities also confiscated drug paraphernalia and marked buy-bust money.
The suspects are now facing charges for violations of Section 5 for the selling of Dangerous Drugs and Section 11 for possession of dangerous drugs under Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*
