Labor Secretary Rosalinda Baldoz has issued Labor Advisory 06 Series of 2015 on the payment of wages in observance of Eid'L Fitr (Feast of Ramadhan) yesterday.
The advisory said if an employee did not work, he/she shall be paid 100 percent of his/her salary for that day.
For work done during the regular holiday, the employee shall be paid 200 percent of his/her regular salary for that day for the first eight hours, it added.
For work done in excess of eight hours (overtime work), he/she shall be paid an additional 30 percent of his/her hourly rate for the day, the advisory added.
‘Negros products hit in Cebu'
Negros-based products were a hit at the Agora de Cebu Trade Fair held during the Aboitiz-Moraza Family Reunion at the Cebu Country Club in Banilad, Cebu from July 10 to 11.

Travel firm marks 15th year
