A 23-year-old male from Barangay 26, Bacolod City, has succumbed to suspected leptospirosis, bringing the total number of deaths recorded by the Bacolod City Health Office to 15.
The CHO has recorded a total of 83 cases of suspected leptospirosis in Bacolod City, as of November 18.
The barangays with the highest number of cases are Mansilingan, Estefania, Bata, Felisa, Banago, Vista Alegre, Singcang, Taculing, 35, 14, Pahanocoy, Villamonte, Handumanan and Alijis.
The Case Fatality Rate is 18.1 percent.*
