On June 27 to July 5, the 23rd Negros Open Tournament will be held at Lopue’s Bowling Center, where bowlers from Iloilo, Cebu, Manila, and Bacolod will be competing to be the next champion of the 23rd Negros Open.
The tournament will showcase skills of professionals who made numerous achievements in the sport of bowling, namely, Olivia “Bong” Coo the commissioner of the Philippine Sports Commission, and Rafael “Paeng” Nepomuceno, the six-time World Bowling Champion and a World Bowling icon.
Members of the RP youth team are also expected to compete in the said event, along with the STAI Youth of Bacolod who recently made news by winning two championships during the 41st PBA Nilo Penado Open Championships, where Tracey Carlyn Tan won the mixed youth category and Rephael Besana won the Marvin Hiponia Cup.*
