Two hundred forty-nine individuals were apprehended in the first five days of August for not properly wearing face masks and not practicing social distancing in Bacolod City.
The Bacolod City Police Office have arrested 6,269 health protocol violators since May 20.
The operations of Police stations 1 to 10, the Mobile Patrol Group, and Bacolod City Mobile Force Company resulted in the arrest of 49 violators on Wednesday, 46 on Tuesday, 59 on Monday, 46 on Sunday, and 49 on Saturday.
The Bacolod police noted less number of violators compared to previous months, adding that people are now more aware of the need to wear face masks and to practice social distancing, as minimum health protocols to combat Covid-19.*
