Twenty-nine barangays in Bacolod City have been without any COVID-19 infection over the last two weeks, while 14 other villages have only at least three cases during the period of November 9 to 22.
Executive Director Em Legaspi-Ang of the Emergency Operations Center-Task Force in an update to EOC-TF chair, Mayor Evelio Leonardia, and Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran, head of the local Inter-Agency Task Force, reported this development yesterday as she expressed confidence that with continued public cooperation, they hope to sustain this positive trend.
Areas with zero COVID- 19 case are Barangays Alangilan, 2, 3, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 16, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 32, 33, 34, 35, 37, 38, 40 and 41, the EOC said.
Barangays Punta Taytay, Montevista, 4, 5, 11, 18, 19, 31, 36 and 39 recorded one case each, while Barangays 7, 14 and 17 have two cases within 14 days.
Handumanan, meanwhile has three COVID-19 infections during the same period, the task force added.
The city also had 23 barangays without a single case of COVID-19 from October 28 to November 10.*
