Nine police personnel assigned in Western Visayas, including three assigned at the Bacolod City Police Office, were given due recognition for their exemplary performances in the conduct of their duties, during awarding rites held on July 17 at Camp Martin Delgado in Iloilo City.
PCol. Alexander Mariano, chief of directorial staff of Police Regional Office 6, representing regional police director PBrig. Gen, Sidney Villaflor, led the awarding of medals to outstanding police personnel.
Recipients of Medalya ng Kagalingan were PCapt. Paul Vincent Pendon, PSSgt. Ramon Memes, and Patrolman Dennis Laurente, all assigned at the Bacolod City Police Office Station 2, PCapt. Johnny Oro, PSSgt. Leo John Palec and Patrolman Joemarie Tubola, Iloilo Police Provincial Office, PMaj. Pedro Goldino Diocson, PSSgt Cyril Ombid and Patrolman Alemarvic Cerafica, who are members of the Capiz Police Provincial Office.
In his message during the awarding rites, PLt. Col. Nasruddun Tayu-an, officer in charge of the Regional Special Training Unit 6, urged the personnel to strengthen their commitment to the PNP organization.
“Let us renew our commitment to the mission and vision of the PNP. Let us remember that our duty is not confined to these ceremony grounds but extends to every corner of our nation, from bustling metropolises to the remote areas,” Tayu-an said in a statement issued by PRO 6 Public Information Office.*
