The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office VI (CHEDRO-VI) cited the Technological University of the Philippines-Visayas (TUPV) with three awards in celebration of the 3rd National Higher Education Day and CHED’s 29th Founding Anniversary.
TUPV is recognized for being the Top 1 Performing School in the April 2023 Electronics Technician Licensure Exam, the Top 3 Performing School in the October 2022 Electronics Technician Licensure Examination, and Best in Community Extension.
One of the anniversary’s activities is the 2nd CHED Regional Quality Awards which acknowledges the effort and initiatives of higher education institutions (HEIs) in the areas of instruction, research, and community extension, among others.
The awarding ceremony will be held on May 19, at West Visayas State University Cultural Center in La Paz, Iloilo City, and will be participated by CHED Region VI employees, HEI officials, academic and non-academic personnel, and students.*
