As thousands of visitors continue to flock to Panaad sa Negros festival sites, amid challenges brought about by fuel crisis, P9,823,644 in sales have been generated in the past three days of festivities, according to data released by the provincial government of Negros Occidental.
The figure of P5,065,381 is higher than the sales of P4,758,244 recorded in the same period of the 2025 festival.
Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz II thanked the public for its continued and unwavering support to the Panaad sa Negros festival, which is now on its 30th year.
The performances of musical band Ben & Ben and dance group Sexbomb also boosted activities at the festival grounds.
Diaz said the Day 3 of the 30th Panaad sa Negros Festival drew an estimated 21,840 visitors and generated P4,360,625.15 in sales, while P2,077,889.50 sales was recorded on Day 2, and P3,385,130.14 sales at the opening day on April 13.
Based on reports from the Panaad Task Force, Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson said there were no untoward incidents, despite the large number of festival-goers.
Diaz also reported that traffic around Panaad Park remained manageable.
He expects much bigger crowd during the Lin-ay sang Negros beauty pageant tonight, and during the weekend.*
