Three drug suspects have been arrested by the police in separate buy bust operations on August 21 in Negros Occidental, resulting in the confiscation of about P58,000 worth of suspected shabu.
Nabbed during a buy bust operation at Sitio Lupni in Brgy. Hilamonan, Kabankalan City, was Antonio Arevalo Jr., alias Jay-R.
The apprehension of Arevalo yielded about six grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P40,8000, P500 in marked money, and a 12-gauge shotgun with two live ammunition, police records showed.
Also nabbed in similar police operation at Purok Santan in Brgy Balingasag, Bago City, was Alfonso Villaruel, alias Bobby.
An estimated 2.5 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P17,000, P500 in marked money, a cellular phone, and P75 in cash, were recovered by the police.
The arrest of James Belgira, 19, in another buy bust operation on the same date, at a public cemetery in Brgy. 21, Victorias City, yielded P680 worth of suspected shabu, police records further indicated.*
