Three persons were injured Tuesday in separate shooting and stabbing incidents in Negros Occidental, with two of the three suspects arrested by the police.
A 64-year- old widower identified by the police as Rogelio Alpeche is now under police custody, after he allegedly shot Robert Borres in Sitio Agning, Brgy. Cruz, Calatrava.
Borres and his brother, Jerome, were on their way home, when he was allegedly shot by the suspect, who was later arrested by the Calatrava police.
The victim is now being treated for his injury at the San Carlos City Hospital.
A certain Wennie Jauro was also arrested by the police allegedly for stabbing the victim identified as Ramir Mondia in Purok Paghidaet, Brgy. Zone 2, Pulupandan, Negros Occidental.
However, another stabbing suspect identified by the police as Janroe Pratt, for allegedly inflicting injuries on Christian Paul Molena also on Tuesday in Brgy. 1-A, Manapla also eluded arrest by authorities.*
