Policemen arrested on Tuesday three more suspected drug peddlers in three buy bust operations in Negros Occidental, yielding about P78,200 worth of suspected shabu.
The apprehension of alias Otep, a 50-year-old tricycle driver, at Sitio Bingig in Barangay 3, Himamaylan City, led to the confiscation of about four grams of suspected shabu valued at P27,200 and marked money of P500.
Another buy bust operation at St. Francis Subdivision in Barangay 5, Silay City, also led to the arrest of an alias Jonadin and the confiscation of more or less seven grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P47,600.
The arrest of alias Rey, a 47-year-old electrician at Purok Sibuyas in Barangay Gil Montilla, Sipalay City, yielded P3,400 worth of suspected shabu.
The three arrested suspects are locked up in jail, pending the filing of charges for violation of RA 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug of Act of 2002.*
